World March for Peace and Nonviolence
Date: Friday, October 2, 2009 - 4:00pm to 6:00pm Location: Yerba Buena Gardens, SF http://www.worldmarchusa.net/ This event will take place on Mahatma Gandhi's birthday, Friday, October 2, in downtown SF from 5 pm - 7 pm. We plan to meet at Yerba Buena Gardens and march down Mission St. to the Ferry Building. At the statue of Gandhi on Pier One we will celebrate by having cultural presentations, speakers, and music from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Date: Wednesday, September 23, 2009 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm Location: Berkeley Bart station CANDLE LIGHT VIGIL at the downtown Berkeley Bart station 7-9pm. Please come to TANC office at 4pm to make some Dhondup Wangchen placards.

The rented van/bus will leave from El Cerrito Plaza at 11:30am on Sunday and will bring people back in the afternoon. When
